Garden

The convent of Beit Habbak is situated on a beautiful green hill. Surrounding the convent is a large area of rocky land that was transformed to cultivated a land due to the eagerness and determination of the nuns who proceeded to take care of it with the help of laborers and planting it with various types of tree plantations. Some of them are : olives, pines, almonds, and pomegranate. Likewise, there’s interest in planting a variety  of vegetables : cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, and garden eggs. Also, there’s interest in planting fruits such as : pears, apples, figs, grapes, plums, and raspberries.

The aim of originating this garden is to improve the land and make it abounding in trees in addition to profiting from the seasonal vegetables and the raising of poultry.
